Yuma gives the game away.

Only 6 hits between the Scorpions and Heat don't matter because this game was won on walks. John Flannagan started this one for the Scorpions and threw very well, going 4 solid Innings giving up 1 in the 1st due to an opportune hit, and some lucky base running. Dailey came in in the 5th Inning and appeared to be doing well, as he gave up nothing in his first Inning. It was a downhill struggle for Dailey as he appeared to have just lost control after getting two quick out in the top of the 6th, he walked the bases loaded and walked in a run, bringing the score to 3-2, leaving Blythe with a chance.

The top of the 7th is where the spiral began. Dailey started the inning by hitting Luis Ochoa and Kalaika Kahoohalahala grounds into a Fielders Choice for 1 out on the Inning. A botched pick off move to first left Kahoohalahala on 3rd on the overthrow. Next up was Mike Garcia who roped a ball into the gap tying the game.

Dailey then walked 3 batters in a row and gave up a 2 RBI 1B to Brandon Gregorich, after David Fisher was Balked in. This brought the score to 6-3, and that is where it ended. Dailey's break down gives a free win to the Blythe Heat, who are still battling for 1st place in the American Division with short time left before the playoffs.
